Yesterday second show Sudershan lo chusa......
My review is as below......
Athadu .....a Sleek Action flick.
Story : Andhariki telisinde.....more of the taking with technical values.
Direction : Trivikram has tried to present the film in a different way and succeded.
Technically one of the best telugu film.
Artiste performance : Mahesh as Nanda and Pardhu as done an excellent role, especially
as a professional killer. Mahesh has done full justice to his role with less dialogues and
with expressions. Remember what i said in Jan, when I saw Athadu shooting at Chiran Fort ?
He gave terrific expression on Phone without dialouges with Kota.

He looked like a real prince in the song Avunu Nijam (This is what personally I like to see Mahi always and this type of hair style really suits him).

The way Mahesh bows in front of Nazar is awesome during the confession that he is not Pardu.
Trisha looks her peppy best after NVNV and her facial expressions are too good and that's what
differenciates her among other heroines. And she looked beautiful in modern dresses.
Nazar and Prakash Raj has done there roles well.
Music : Music is one of the highlight of the movie.
Songs picturization is very good. Some of the review sites said that "Neetho Cheppana" song
was shot at some foreign locations but it was shot in Sikkim.
Chandamama, Pilichina Raanatava, Pillagali and Auvnu Nijam are classy songs.
Fans were dancing for songs Chandamama and Pilichina Raanatava.
Action : Again a well done job by Peter. All fights look natural and mahi is know for his action scenes.
the fight with was shot in the fields and the temple are simple superb.
Photography : KV guhan used excellent color grading and slick photography.
Art : I liked the scene after Pilichina Raanatava song with all ballons falling in the night effect.
Plus Points :
1. Mahi chala chala bagunnadu, Mahesh screen presence and Trisha histrionics and the scences between Mahi and Trisha.
2. You can watch the film with entire family as there is no vulgarity and skin show.
3. Songs (Chandamama, Pilichina Raanatava, Pillagali and Auvnu Nijam)
4. Fights by Peter, expecially the scene where Mahi kills a person in old city,
fight with Tanikella Bharani chellas and the temple fight with Brammaji.
kids will enjoy the above last two fights.
5. Comedy scenes with Bramanandam
6. Trivikram one line dialogues.
The -ve points are very minor to be mentioned here.
Enjoy Mahi fans we got another feather in the cap. |
