andhrawala, turn on the wireless network button which is generally on the side of your laptop(you'll see a small LED glowing beside it if it is ON) then go to start->connect to ->wireless network connection refresh the network list, even if you dont have a wireless modem at your home, you can connect to other wireless networks which are with in your apt. building or surroundings, I mean if those wireless networks are unlocked......... |

there will be a button or switch on your laptop...which enables the wireless connection...check whether it is on.... if u r configuring the wireless for first time..it would be a good idea to reset the modem and router |
