It was rather very low-key launch for a Venkatesh film. Usually his films witness massive launch with heavy media participation. But this time for his new film, Laxmi, being directed by V V Vinayak, he has chosen simple launch. The film was formally launched today at Ramanaidu studios at 12.45 pm. Industry's top producers and other cine personalities were attended the function. Media was not invited. Hero Venkatesh had done pooja ceremony.
The film is produced by Nallapalupu Srinivas (Bujji) and it stars Nayanatara and Charmy as the female lead. The film's regular shoot will begin from August 22nd this month and a formal announcement to the media will be made on that day, sources told us.
Venkatesh plays a powerful role named Laxminarayana, hence it is named Laxmi. It is urban-based film unlike Vinayak's earlier faction ridden flicks. |
