Good that you saw Kellys heros. I remember suggesting that you see the movie way back. It is a wholesom entertainer. I just like the scens with the tanks towards the end.
Kubricks Full-Metal Jacket is one of the most discussed movies on the internet. it is indeed a masterpiece.
Platoon got an Oscar and IMO the best war movie of the old times.
All the others are goo mentions , but I would pick "We Were Soldiers" as the one closest to reality without much padded story.

i like genre mix in war movies like Kelly's heroes, three kings etc. watch kelly's heros if possible.

Last week ee rendu war movies choosanu. Evarikanna war movies nachuthaya??? nachite mee fav war movies enti??
Platoon: it was ok. Slow movie. Charlie sheen was ok. we can see johnny depp for couple of sec
he is a kid at tat time William Dafoe is good.
My Rating: 6.5/10
Ful Metal Jacket: Movie looked little diff to me.
first 30mins was like a diff part and the last 1hr was another part. igot bored while watching the movie. there isnt much in the film, but i donno why it was rated as one of the best war movies!
My Rating : 6/10
meeku choodlani unte choodandi, lekapothe better to put them aside!
