Lewd Drama

The very get up of the film looks cut out for crude romance, in the name of exposing the attitude of some men, who use women for their lust and leave them to their fate. And some go farther to the extent of killing them either to erase the proof or out of sadistic temperament. But the backdrop of a blue film CD selling business and dialogue are intended only to serve the romantic stuff. The film is awarded 'A' certificate but who cares for it. Fortunately the film is drawing no crowds, more because of the weak star cast, and the name of the director Gandhi branded for sex.

Sujatha (Sruthi Malhotra) and Siva (Rajeev Kanakala) are the prime characters of this subject. Raghu (brother of Raviteja) appears in the second half of the cinema. That means Rajeev Kanakala and Raghu share the two halves of the film, with the character of Sujatha being common. Siva (Rajeev) owns a CD hiring shop. Venu Madhav and Suman Shetty work there. You can imagine what kind of scenes are played up associated with blue film CD shops. Siva is a womanizer. Then the story of one Sujatha is developed in separate track. She is quite innocent girl and needs protection as she has come of age. She is so innocent that she can easily become victim of any rogue. Her grandfather (Vallam Narasimha Rao) is the only guardian of this woman. He entrusts the responsibility of looking after Sujatha, to one Prabhavati (Hema), his relative. Prabhavati takes her to the city where she lives and admits her into a college. One day Sujatha comes into the gaze of womanizer Siva. He goes crazy and wants to capture her by hook or crook or by both. He pretends a sincere lover and practically chases her and makes her believe he is the most trusted lover and would marry her one day. Almost when everything is settled for the two to wed and Prabhavati's approval, Sujatha learns that she is not the only girl in his life. A new development takes place. Neelu (Sona), a girl who is already having sexual relations with Siva on his promise that he would marry her, becomes pregnant. She demands him to marry. But he asks her to terminate her pregnancy. She refuses to undergo abortion and threatens that she would expose him. In a fit of rage, he strangles her to death. Police investigation starts and Siva dies in a road accident.

A shocked Sujatha feels that God had saved her from falling into the hands of this rogue Siva. That is when another man named Chandu (Raghu) sees her and wants to marry. When everything is settled, Prabhavati advises Sujatha not to reveal her past with Siva. Sujatha keeps it a secret. How their marital life goes on is what the film narrates later. The film is given a happy end, with Sujatha finding a trustworthy husband in Chandu.

The first half literally proves allergic because of the dirty sex talk. Siva and his assistants create ugly scenes. And the scenes about blue films and CDs and persons collecting them render the scenes worse. The second part opens with crime drama, but closes with a new type of relationship between Sujatha and Raghu. The rest is extra prattle by Venu Madhav and Suman Shetty. Rajeev and Raghu are the only known names in the main star cast. But they have no sensible roles to play. Scenes with Venu Madhav are repulsive. Dialogue is poor. Screenplay is poorer and direction is poorest and tasteless. Artiste playing Sujatha is not that attractive that can make men crazy of her. Music score never helps the film to gain better image. The entire structure of the film looks as if it is an excuse to present scenes that stir base emotions. Gandhi is director's name, remember. Every other character in the film is used only for this cheap vein.
