Canadian Srilankan duped with Asin pic
A certain polio-hit unmarried lady in poverty Poongodi (from Coimbatore) recently lured a Srilankan in Canada named Darrens by sending him the photograph of actress Asin. Darrens, who fell for the beauty of Poongodi (presuming Asin as Poongodi) kept in regular touch with her. When the girl said she was in financial troubles, Darrens sent her money to the tune of more than a lakh rupees. In the recent days, Darrens showed his net-love's photo (Asin) to a friend, who revealed that she is actress Asin. A duped Darrens filed a police complaint and Poongodi is arrested and a case is being investigated by Coimbotore police
