Snippet: Chiranjeevi fans on a mega tour with a mission
They are fans of Megastar Chiranjeevi and they have set out on a cycle expedition named “Jeevitham” to create awareness among people on AIDS and to promote eye and blood donation.
A group of five youths P Sambasiva Rao, L Yagnam, S K Khaja, T Nagaraju and Ch Chandrasekhar, natives of Guntur have decided to travel a distance of about 60,000 kilometres in one year covering different States of the country.
They started their mega yatra on a specially designed bicycle with five seats and 10 pedals from Guntur town on August 28.
Yagnam, a cycle mechanic, who is also a native of Guntur, specially designed the cycle.
So far, they have covered 1300 kilometres and 80 villages in Krishna, Guntur and Nalgonda districts before reaching the city.
In the city, they met their favourite film star Chiranjeevi on Friday, who wished them all the best and a successful cycle yatra.
