Swapna Dutt, Daughter of Star Producer C. Ashwini Dutt who did her M.B.A from American University directly stepped in to her father’s production house ‘Vyjayanthi Movies’ after her return.
She was the Executive Producer for the two films, Pavan’s 'Balu', and Venakatesh’s ‘Subhas Chandra Bose’. Both the movies bombed at box office, which created a setback to her career.
She tried to implement International Management Techniques in to the age-old Telugu film making process, which was not digested by the Tollywood personalities.
Moreover, she has given headaches to Mega director K. Raghavendra Rao, Pavan and Venkatesh with her arrogant and head strong attitude while working with them.
Keeping all these issues in mind Mega Star Chiranjeevi asked Ashwini Dutt to keep his daughter out of the project Jai Chiranjeeva (directed by Vijay Bhaskar) for which he obliged.
But the girl intervened in the production matters in the recently concluded American schedule, that created a small rift between Ashwini Dutt and Chiru.
The industry feels that Ashwini Dutt needs to keep his daughter (Swapna Dutt) out of his business for a while to taste the success.
