Cinema chaalaa baavuntadi, but janaalaki ekkaledu and is a big dud. Okka Hyd lone direct 100 days. Migathaa ekkadaa ledu. Guntur laanti pedda A center lo 21 days ke lepaaru. 50 days centerlu oka 5 koodaa vundavanukuntaa. Added to this, this movie was brought for fancy rates (Varma-Venkatesh-Sridevi combination and that too second movie of Varma) and eventually resulted in big losses. |

This is a sensation of all sorts. The dynamic duo of Nagarjuna and Ram Gopal Verma, made Shiva in 1990, which changed the way movies, were made in telugu, there after. The film was dubbed in Hindi and bought national recognition for both Nag and Verma. Now, the same pair is back with another film, titled Shiva 2006. But, unlike the 90s version, the protagonist will be playing the role of an honest police officer. The story focuses on the loss the society faces when the services of key people like politicians, doctors, government employees do not reach the end point – that is the general public. Ram Gopal Verma himself will direct the movie. The movie will be simultaneously be made in Hindi, with Ramu’s latest muse Mohit Alhawat. This will be a casting coup of all sorts. |

Ram Gopal Varma is going to make a sequel to Shiva in Telugu. Hero is Nagarjuna who plays the role of a police officer who fights against current system.Music director is Ilayaraja and it is jointly produced by Nagarjuna and Ramgopal Varma.
