"At first, I was shocked on how these so-called critics can be so irresponsible to the filmmakers as well as the viewers! Only two or three critics wrote blindfoldedly bad reviews about our movie. One of them is known to take 1.5 to 2 lakh rupees for a favorable review or looks for caste biases to rate high on his website. The other one personally expressed his worries that his son's (living in U.S.A) dowry value will go down since the movie deals with the grave realities of U.S. student life. I wonder if they even watched the movie to know the essence of it. I bet they are intellectually handicapped for not realizing the vivid subject line with an underlined message. I can only pity for those journals losing their credibility like this. Our movie in fact is criticizing these critics and mocking at their level of intellectual grasp on modern filmmaking skills. The movie is a mirror reflection of today's youth. Every viewer can identify oneself with each and every character, including the villain and comedians. At times, it does taste bitter because it gets too realistic in nature." http://www.telugucinema.com/c/stars/interview_devk atta_2005.php inka assumptions meeku vadilesa kikiki |
