Satyanrayana Moorthy (Chiranjeevi) is a landlord in Amalapuram. Pasupathi (Arbaz Khan) is a smuggler of armories and in the process of a business deal he test fires the latest model firearm which results in slaughtering of Lavanya who is niece to Satyanarana Moorthy. In the process of reprisal, Satyanarayana Moorthy land in Hyderabad and after a couple of encounters with the affiliates of Pasupathi, he comes to know that Pasupathy resides in USA. How Neelima (Bhoomika) helps out Satyanraya in accomplishing his revenge forms the rest of the story.
Casting Performances:
Chiranjeevi excelled in the character which has multiple dimensions in it. He looked stylish on the screen. The comedy timing of his speaks for his prowess as an actor. His performance in the emotional episodes is appealing. Dances by him are as usual great. Stunts by him tell us about the amount of dedication he puts in. The following are some of the awesome episodes done by Chiranjeevi.
• Intro scene with Sameera Reddy in her house.
• Funeral scene of his niece Lavanya
• Interval Fight
• Scene where he challenges Arbaz Khan in front of the Monitor.
• Scene where he asks his sister on his decision in taking the
revenge.
• Marriage episode in the church.
Heroines: Bhoomika as an NRI, the one who marries Chiranjeevi to help out him in taking revenge on the common enemy. She looked too slim on the screen and performance wise she did a decent job. Sameera Reddy got more footage comparatively. She played the character as a fast going lady and as a one who adores Chiranjeevi. She danced with Megastar in five songs. Scenes amid Chiranjeevi, Bhoomika and Sameera Reddy evoked good response from the crowd.
Others: Arbaz Khan as the main villain is adequate but his dialogues on Ramayana and Bhagavad-Gita looked outlandish to him on the screen. Jayaprakash Reddy and Rahul Dev as affiliates to Arbaz Khan are moderate and displayed some ruthlessness on the screen. Venu Madhav as follower to Chiranjeevi did well. His presence is almost all equal with that of Chiranjeevi’s in the first half. Sunil as evoked tremendous laughter. Sameer and Sujitha as the parents of Lavanya are adequate. M S Narayana has special thread in which he gets on demoting in his job in every appearance he had. Others chipped in.
TECHNICAL ASPECTS
Story- Dialogues: Story is based on the revenge plot. The male lead takes revenge on the villain who is responsible for his agony. The story line is slight mix of Choodalani Vundhi and Mass. Dialogues by Trivikram is in his trademark style. His work is clearly visible in the second half. Spontaneous dialogues like the following attract one and all.

Overall Trivikram did his job.
Screen Play- Direction: Screenplay is good. K Vijaya Baskar succeeded to the max in blending the emotional and comedy threads well. The director ensured to run multiple comedy threads through out the movie Venu Madhav-Chiranjeevi comedy thread in the first half, Chiranjeevi-Sameera-Bhoomika comedy thread in the first part of the second half, Brammhanadam-Chiranjeevi thread and M S Narayana comedy track in the later part of the second half. In between director blended the emotional episodes involving Megastar and his family. Heroism elevation scenes are canned in an appealing way. However director could not handle the climax episode. Climax is plane and got a feeling that it is hurried a bit.
Music: Manisharma music is an asset to the movie. All the songs looked fresh and trendy on the screen. Background music is not in the standards of his. Here is the order and description of the songs
• Jai Jai Ganesha is the song performed by the male lead on the event of Vinayaka Chavithi in the street. Sameera Reddy dances into the song in between. Lawrence composed the song.
• Hey Jana is the discotheque number canned on Chiranjeevi and Sameera Reddy. Chiranjeevi looked extremely glamorous in the glossy costumes. Thanks to the costume designer. Lawrence composed the racy steps.
• Maha Muddosthunnave is canned on Sameera Reddy and Chiranjeevi in the out door locations such as the air bay and ship yards. Dances are attractive in the song. Zoom technology is used in the song.
• Ko Ko Kodi is the first number in the second half. Great song and steps filled in with lot of grace made it as remember able one. The song is canned on Sameera Reddy and Chiranjeevi on specially designed sets. Costumes remind us of Radhe Govinda song in Indra.
• Thumps up Thunder is sophisticatedly taken on Bhoomika and Chiranjeevi in the beach of Mauritius. The gestures by Chiranjeevi and Bhommika in the song remind us of Pawan Kalyan. The stand out of the songs.
• Thillana is the solo song for Chiranjeevi where in the he describes about his character. Manisharma makes a special appearance and is treated in an innovative way. Chinni Prakash choreographed the song and was shot in USA
Other Departments: Photography is appealing by the award winner Venu. Chiranjeevi looked extremely glamorous. Zoom is effectively used in heroism elevation scenes. Stunts by Vijay and Allen amen are good. The movie has almost half a dozen fights and all are choreographed with utmost care. The interval bang fight is extra ordinary. Graphic work is worthy. Editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is crispy. Production values are high.
Analysis: First half of the movie is good. Chiranjeevi’s mind blowing performance, comedy, songs, Dialogues are the main positive points of the movie. Screenplay is good and direction is moderate. Second half is also good barring the climax. Climax is pretty plane and the intensity of the vengeance is missing in the climax. Bhomika character is not purely justified. Overall it’s a neat comedy family entertainer from Chiranjeevi which has all the ingredients to satisfy one and all.
Tail Piece:: K VIjayabaskar Reddy told that he has become a fan of Chiranjeevi after doing a movie with him. Yes he is right the intensity of his performance in the movie is extra ordinary. Not only Vijaya Baskar every one who watches the movie will become an admirer to Megastar.
