Mahesh Babu and Gunashekar’s combo film, Sainikudu’s regular shoot is postponed again. The film is scheduled to go floors from Jan 20, 2006 but the date is set on Feb 6th. As Mahesh’s Pokiri is wrapping up a song from January 16th at a specially erected set in Annapoorna, Sainikudu is postponed for 20 days.
Sainikudu will begin its shoot with a song to be shot on Mahesh and the heroine Trisha. This is the second time that Trisha is doing with Mahesh. The film has music by Haarish Jayaraj.
Pokiri fast finishing up
Director Puri Jagannath is known for winding up films at fast pace. He is living up to his name. His film with Mahesh, Pokiri, is nearing its completion. Normally, Mahesh’s films take a huge time (nearly a year) to complete the shooting but Pokiri bucked the trend.
Perhaps, Pokiri would be remembered for its shortest time taken for shooting in Mahesh’s film if not for anything else. And the buzz is that the film has been shaping up well and Puri has a winner in this film. |
