Coming to Style movie.. This is movie is one of the best movies in recent times that i had watched..
If there is a word or two, thread or two, page or two to discuss the performance of Lawrence then it would be an insult to his commitment and his enormous abilities...So i simply acknowledge him as the Best.
I will be surpised if he is not gonna get the National award for Best choreography this year and would seriously like to know what more it takes to get that..
If this is his second movie he is directing then again its a shock because he dealt the movie with so much of experience and there's so much of depth especially in the second half of the movie where the sentimental scenes worked out really well.
Most of the sentimental scenes in movies suck big time to me alteast and this is the rarest of the movie where those scenes r so touching..and got involved..
I would really request Rajamouli if he has a chance to watch this movie second half especially for those sentiment scenes as he really tortures with bloody sentiment in his movies especially Chatrapathi..
Coming to Lawrence's dances-- the dance he does with the broom with charmee, The Climax dance, Dance in the Dance Floor with Eminem kinda dressing, Dance with bullet in his legs, single leg dancing, single leg veena step, the infusion kinda step with the classical dance along with Kamilinee that he performs...if i keep telling there r lot more than that i can remember..
Story is really touching, apart form the main stream songs that he danced for there r so many dance bits that i never felt anything like bored.
All in all though the first half was kinda time pass, the second half is nothing short of perfection blending all elements for everybody..
I can dare to tell that if K.Viswanath has deftfully dealt with movies on classical dance then Lawrence has dealt excellently enough with this modern day dance.
Last but not least u should like the modern day music and dance to like this movie...If all u think is traditional dance and music then dont even have to watch this movie.. |
