different processes , i am thinking of are 1. refresh backlog orders daily/weekly/monthly 2. refresh intelligence daily based on backlog 3. on-demand download/upload of intelligence by planners 4. creation of excel downloadable files on-demand 5. updation of planners' notes to intelligence table, which would be provided in excel sheet (4&5 are descriptive of 3) |

i am developing the HLD for a migration project. size of components : tables - 5 PL/SQL programs - 5 unix scripts - 2 i think am being over-cautious .. kikikiki this enhancement should be simpe one.. this enhancement doesn't require setting up of new servers. just am brining in a process, which was implemented in SPSS, into data warehouse system and migrating the code to PL/SQL... |

If yes let me know the kind of project you are working on and I will tryin to SPEC out the System Flow diagram Without you coming out with more details would be kind of reverse engineering leading to nothing. >>system flow ki process flow diagram ki enti difference... evaraina konchem help cheyyandi Process Flow: It can be a business process description. For example in ERP take Financials: The procure to pay or Order to Cash Process in the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. The document clear explains the Business process involved like from raising a Purchase order to paying by check from a Bank System Flow: It clears shows the databases, application servers involved. It also shows the DMZ's(demilitarized Zone) of the company when interacting with third party vendors. Usually in the system flow diagram you would be seeing the IP number and the name of the boxes(Computers are usually called boxes in Corporate Slang). It can be like "companyname001" etc So when you have a production problem they would say like target.prod001(taking client Target) is down or being recycled. By seeing the system flow you need analyse the architecture of the company like where the Database servers, Application servers are located} |

visio diagram vaduthunte kanaka chala clear ga cheppochu adi. like you will be having some number of rows. in each row you define different modules that comprises the total system. if you take any financial system, you define AccountPayables, Treasury, Bank,..etc in each row. Now you define the process flow. If you give that to anyone they can easily identify their process flow based on the module(or whateven u define in each row). bank vallaki vaalla process flow kanapaduthundi. alage treasury vadiki. kani total vachesi total system flow. |
