Both TDP and INC spent lot of money for this election, and the talk was who ever wins is going to win with thin margin. It is definitely a blow to TDP, because they may not be able to spend any more money. |

Even I was surprised by the EC's decision. Compared to past elections, the irregularities in this election is nothing, but the decision is AWESOME.
HATS OFF to EC. Also police pursuing the Babji's case with this much vigor is a welcome change. Maybe it is due to the fact that Babji doesn't belong to either of the 2 infulential communities in the state or papers pursuing the matter with utmost interest, but in any case IT IS A WELCOME CAHANGE.
I SUPPORT PURSUING THE GOONDA ACTIVITIES OF ANY ONE, LET ALONE ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES, NO MATTER WHAT THE CIRCUMSTANCES WERE. I SIMPLY CANN'T TOLERATE PEOPLE COMMITING CRIMES AND ESCAPING FROM THE LAW. |

I never ever knew ELECTION COMMISSION can command the election process to such an extent and gives a AATH CARE to the Govt(Central or State for that matter) till the great T.N.SHESHAN took over!!
From the time he took over he did miracles and including me millions in the country understood that ELECTION COMMISSION in India is a very powerful unit and can do miracles and conduct fair elections if a sinciere person is at helm!!
T.N.SHESHAN, KRISHNAMURTHY(???), LINGDO all did great job!!

Still there are some loop holes but huge huge improvement from 1970s in election system!!
I appreciate the ELECTION COMMISSION for taking VISAKA-1 issues seriously and cancelling the election there!!
If they start doing this more often, these fellas who ever are paying for votes will certainly hesistate and the elction process will become more fool proof and sensible.
