I donot think... it will effect outsourcing....untill unless they maintain the quality of the product....
some companies had very bad experience ...some had very good experience... |

Nenu adigedi with increase in H1B quota, with economy picking up, with H1 billing rates coming down etc outsourcing to india affect avuthada ani??
Becuase, I remember with DOT COM boom and Y2K situations, the software billing rates sky rocketted and every tom dick n harry were getting big billing rates.
Than with crossing year 2000, with DOT COM bubble bursting, suddenly companies could not pay that kind of billing rates and in the mean time economy went down to a new low and that added to the struggle. That was the time companies followed this new strategy of outsourcing to lesser expensive avenues like INDIA, CHINA, BRAZIL.
Now....
1)Gradually H1 rates are coming down.
2)Economy picked up.
3)H1 quota being increased, so that more and more competetion between H1Bs and consequence being low rates.
WILL ALL THIS AFFECT THE OUTSOURCING??

bcuz many companies are moving to INDIA on there own...
Ippatike USA lo chala mandhi H1B's lost there jobs...but the good thing is, market is very good ...andhu kane effect theliyatam ledhu...
once the market goes down..like the one in 2000 -2002....it will be a total disaster....

With economy stabilizing and job market improving, it is meaningful to increase the H1B quota. Now the question is...
Already the salaries or hourly rate being paid to H1Bs is gradually coming down compared to 1998s and H1Bs have become less expensive. Will all this like H1Bs becoming less expensive, US economy stabilizing, job market picking up etc affect the outsourcing of jobs??
