Recently the Telugu film industry has again having a financial crisis of a sort. There are any big hits in the recent times and this has made the producers incur losses of crores of rupees and it has become like a gambling playground of sorts. So some of the bigwigs in the film industry are shifting towards the real estate business which is a lot less riskier than the film industry.
Some of the producers like the popular producer Murali Mohan, Ramanaidu son-in-law Ashok Kumar, C Kalyan, KL Nayrana, Chinna, Ganesh, ‘Modati Cinema’ producer Muthyam Reddy, Magunti Babu, Mullapudi Brahmanandam (producer of ‘Aame’) are still producing films but most of them are planning to invest in real estate business in the near future. It is being rumoured that if this trend continues then it can be a very disastrous for the film industry. |

1980 was the time when the films were being made in the modern trend. Jaya Pradha entered the film industry as a glamour heroine and was at her peak stage at that time. Later she entered the Bollywood and there also she made a mark for herself. In the Telugu Desam period she entered active politics and worked in the high level posts. At one time she was very close to Nara Chandrababu Naidu. But now she has distanced herself from the TDP and joined the Samajwadhi Party and is a close aide of the party's leader 'Amar Singh.' She produced some film in her home productions 'Jaya Pradha Entertainments' and now is planning to produce some movies in Hindi also. She also did a duet song with the popular singer 'Adnan Sami' recently. It is proud feeling for every Telugu person that Jaya Pradha has proved her talent to the nation who had come from a ordinary family in Rajamundhry.
