actual in tamil this was done by satyaraj, who mocks everyone. Maybe MB should have followed that strategy in this movie. |

MB ki vundi annatam ledu mama - Satyaraj ki ledu antunnanu. I completely agree with you that this is not a whole hearted attempt from MB.
Asal telugu nativity ki convert chese prayatnam lekunda aa movie ni vunnadi vunnadte teesesina bagundedi.
I agree that there were a lot of insane attempts to commercialize the movie - and a lot of money was wasted as the movies does not deservet he budget it was showered with.

Adi Thadi was a very good movie and treat to watch. Satyaraj was very natural in the movie - and Napolean( in PR role) was OK. Kaani akkaa screenplay was very good - ikkada Addi pettinattu flashes levu 
Alage Rathi (Palliki lo pelli Kuturu fame) Charmme laaga over expose cheyyakunda - patrochhitham gaa natinchindi.
Adi Thadi did not have modifications and additions to cater to the star image of MB or the sex image of Charmme - it was an out and out honest attempt by Shivaraj:
If you look at it Satyraj and MB were villains to start with and became heros - so it was very very apt choice.
but
1) Satyaraj was bald in the movie and worked without a wig - that was the single greates asses to the film as it made the change to an young man very very natural.
2) The political satires were hilarious becuase they had no proessure - and commented on existing politics - in PR they had no relevance or were made with caution.
3) There was a natural warmth in the role of borther( Napolean) and was carefully scripted into teh move. PR-MB failed to strike a chord.

Cinema lo AAdi darshakatvam asalu bagoledu. Screenplay and connectivity lopinchidi. Cinem alo soul ledu asalu and moreover MB pathra lo consistency ledu.
I am very unhappy with the final product even after spending a lot of money and hiring the best talent available. The only take-home form this movie is is Sandeep Chouta's "Ishqpeta lo ..." which made is to the Zee Top 10.
Parchuri dialouges bagane vunnayi - kaani cinema lo out of place. PR and MB pathralo anna-dammulu ayina aa feeling prekshakudi emmatram kalagaledu.
Charmi role is a huge negative asset to the movie - except for the songs.
Aseembly ROwdy lo 5% kooda ledu ee cinema. Assembly Rowdy was perfect example of a good rassavataram aina movie in those days
