here the problem is Im not allowed to write server side code or any script. the task is just to mention all the requirement to put in the attribute of validateexpression to the regular expression validator... thats wat i hv to do... if server side code allowed then I wud go for custom validator its much easier for me instead of this regual expressions. anantam ee payanam, avisraantam mee poraatam, madama tippani nee naijam, aluperugani nee payanam. Anna neeve naaku aadarsam. |

its very simple to make regual xpression for alphanumeric word but here the prob is how to make presense of one uppercase letter and one digit must in that word but it may be any position... for example... if user enters testingword --->its wrong bcos there is no upper case letter and no digit existing testing1word ---> its wrong bcos there is no upper case letter still digit is existing (i.e. 1) Testing1word ---> its correct bcos one uppercase letter (i.e. T) and one digit (i.e. 1) is existing in this word anantam ee payanam, avisraantam mee poraatam, madama tippani nee naijam, aluperugani nee payanam. Hi guys did any one knows about regular xpressions I tried my best to know how to make one alphabet must be capitalised and atleast one number to be present in a word. I know how to write for alpha numeric string but all I want to know is the above rule is must(i.e. one alphabet must be uppercase and one number should be in the word). How can I forcefully to do that in regular xpression. suggest me if any one of U knows thx in advance to AOU anantam ee payanam, avisraantam mee poraatam, madama tippani nee naijam, aluperugani nee payanam.
