You said that you have a dog in this film. Did you face any PETA problems?
SK: No. We did the entire dog part in computer graphics. This anti animal usage in films is the most ridiculous law. If you see the films that are coming now, all these films are so violent. The censor board does not have any problems if there is excessive violence in films where men are slaughtered ruthlessly, but they will have problems if we show trained animals in a decent manner. I want to fight against PETA regulations in film censoring.

What is Godavari film all about?

SK: Godavari film is about a journey that each individual take. Kamalinee Mukherjee character wants to be individualistic. She got some problems and uses this journey as a getaway. Sumanth’s character is an idealistic one. He wants to serve selflessly to the people around him and to the society, which is not being liked by everybody. His takes this journey to getaway from frustration. There is a character of a small boy (Chinna) who lost everything in life. And there is a small dog with him. There is also another pair (Kamal Kamaraju & Neetu Chandra) that participates in journey. Godavari journey is all about how these individual people learnt to know more about themselves through this journey. This film has the beautiful backdrop of Godavari.

Sekhar kammula did it again.

Manchu binduvullo tadusthunna anubhooti , chiru jallullo chittadivi lo tirugutunna experience, Vesavi kalam lo pournami vennellO pachani polaala madhyalo madata mancham vesukoni padukunE anubhooti andaru taste cheyyaleru....alaantidE ee 'Godavari' ...ee cinemaani andaru enjoy cheyyaleru...kaani Chitram mottham alaanti hridayaaniki hatthukunE chikkati feelings ennO ennenno......

ee godavari chaala chakkaga vundhi.

Seetamaalaxmi(kamaalinee) , Sriram(sumanth) , Raaji(neetu chandra) , Ravinder(??) anE 4 characters madhya naligE naalugu sthmabaalaata ee 'godavari'. Story reveal chestE thrill undadhu. Its a sweet n matured love story. 'Anand' is an 'ameturish film' in my view. But this Godavari is Thick in Characterization and Psychology. I wonder how sekhar kammula read 'Female Psychology' that much deep? His female characters behave very very natural in every frame n situation.

First Half is excellent and Second Half( barring an unnecessary, useless faction episode) also feel good. B.Gopal 'Anand' laanti cinema teeddaamani try chesthE elaa vuntundhi ?? Sekhar Kammula Faction episode touch cheyyakudadhu..Sekhar garu, manakendukandee Faction doola ???


One more thread which is touching is a slum boy character which runs in parallel with the story . Its too good.

Another highlight is , english movies lo laaga ee cinemaalO kukkalu, ramachilukalu anni common characters laaganE maatladutu untaayi.. vinataniki comedy ga vunnaa movie lo click ayyindi..there lies sekhar's talent. Kukka character chEta manushula mindset meedha vEsina satires adiraayi..

All songs are visual treat. Esp "UppengE godavari" song , "Manasaa" song are too good. Vijay C Kumar cinematOgraphy extraordinary .

Godavari river andaalu atyadbutam. appudeppudo andala ramudu cinemaalo ilaage chupinchaaranta...antha kanna technically brilliant ga gracious ga chupinchaaru.

Biggest and only drawback is slooooooooooooooooooooooooowish narration..mahaa Vopika kaavaali cinemaani chudaalantE.

Teens ki elaa ekkutundhO chudaali idhi koncham slow n matured story. Naa age 30 kabatti baaganE nachindhi naa varakaithE..

Ladies ki ayitE oka range lo nachutundhi cinemaa..

a) Seeta maalaxmi cheera kattukoni sriram kOsam eduru chusE scene excellent.

b) Raajee tho neeku physical ga emannaa relation undaa ani seeta , Ram ni casual ga adigE scene very good.

c) raamayanam lo seeta sriramudini kshaminchalEdaa ?? ani ee sriram , ee seeta tho antaadu....daaniki ee seeta reply ...WOW..watch it

aadapilla lo undE jealousy , Ego ,parents tho unde freeness lani excellent ga project chesaadu.
