Pokiri is really creating waves. The film has already broken old records as per as the collections concerned and now wins critical praise from none less than stalwart like Amitabh Bachchan. Recently director and producer Puri Jagannadh had arranged a special screening of Pokiri in Mumbai just to show it to the Big B Amitabh and Ram Gopal Varma.
Both Amitabh and Ramu had seen the entire film and loved it. “Amitabh was really impressed with Mahesh’s performance,” Puri informed.
“What’s more Amitabh said that he had not seen such a subtle performance on Indian screen off late,” Puri said.
“But I am yet to inform this to Mahesh,” he added.
Mahesh would really be on cloud nine hearing this. For getting such a great complement from legendary Amitabh Bachchan not a mean feat.
Both Amitabh and Ram also praised Puri for presenting the film in a very realistic manner. |
