TD to compensate partymen for loss in poll violence
Telugu Desam party will help its workers who sere injured or whose property was destroyed in the attacks by political rivals during Panchayat Raj elections in the State.
At the same time the party proposes to furnish relevant information to the State Election Commission and seek �action taken report� on poll related violence, TDP general secretary K Srihari told media persons here today.
District committees of TDP are being asked to compile the information regarding to attacks on its leaders and activists.
Srihari condemned the police lathicharge on students who opposed hike in engineering course fee.
The women�s wing also condemned the lathicharge against girl students. R Chandrasekhar Reddy, MP, said his party would raise Mumbai blasts tissue in the upper house. He alleged that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had failed to convene the National Security Council at regular intervals.

TDP cadre gesture for Mumbai blast victims
Telugu Desam Party workers across the State donated blood on Thursday to help victims of Tuesday’s serial blasts in Mumbai. TDP secretary and incharge of the blood donation programme D. Srisailam said camps were organised in several districts and at the party headquarters here which was inaugurated by party president N. Chandrababu Naidu.
