mama ye sport kaina revenue untene mama sponsors undedi or else if they are doing exceptionally well like harikrishna, humpy did. our indian womens team is doing neither. so obviously there is not much money in that. but again I dont think that they are in such a bad stage. they have been touring other countries with same frequency as our male team. so they must be making enough money now. |

gochi mama malli facts teliyaka matlade matalu. every inch of popularity paes/bhupati got is what they deserve and no hype at all. they are the winners of grandslams in tennis. each of them has won atleast 4 grandslams if not more. that is no mean achievement. they both have been the number one in rankings in doubles tennis. may be u dont know. they had the unique record of being the only pair to reach the finals of all grandslams in a calender year apart from the woodies(not sure) in open era. that is no mean achievement. they are regarded as all time greats in doubles tennis. so dont be under the misconception that they have been given hype.
and about sania too, she is the only indian may be after vijay amritraj to have won a singles tournament. what more can u ask for? she broke into the top 30 singles rankings where the competition is so huge these days in two years since she turned pro. thats no mean achievement. |
