Yash Raj Films - 27th in world, 1st in India

Hollywood Reporter, the renowned international film magazine recently carried a survey on the Biggest Film Production Houses in the world. And according to the report, the Indian production house Yash Raj Films also appears in the Top 50 Production house list which features big names like Buena Vista, Sony, Warner Brothers, Universal, New Line, Fox, Paramount, Miramax, MGM and Dreamworks just to name a few.
Yash Raj Films (the overseas distributors of films like Kal Ho Naa Ho, Koi Mil Gaya and Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon) features on the 27th position and thereby turns the Number One production house on the Bollywood front. Just about a month back, IndiaFM too had conducted a survey in which Yash Raj Films acquired the Top spot with its upcoming untitled Yash Chopra film being the most awaited movie of the year.
The other Bollywood production houses that feature on the list of Hollywood Reporter include Eros Entertainment (Baghban, LOC, Khushi, Armaan, Dum) and Rajshri International (Out of Control). Eros is at Number 30 while Rajshri occupies the 69th position.

The speculation on Yash Chopra's next film, right from its title to theme to treatment is rising by the day keeping in Yash Raj's tradition of grand mystique. The latest rumor making rounds of the industry is that the movie is titled Veer Dara. But this is far from true. The Chopras have planned a grand launch of the title of their highly anticipated film and as per reliable sources it is anything but Veer Dara. Stay tuned and we will reveal you the real title of the film very soon.
The film is very close to Yashji's heart and from what we hear is probably the biggest and the most magnificent project to have come out of the Yash Raj stable till now and has all the makings to be the biggest blockbuster.
