Main problem is hero too much hype chesi seda dobbedu. 20 crores movie, only to be seen on theatre, no sister sentiment ani seppi Number 1 movie ni rehash chesi theeseru. Boasting maree ekkuvai poyindhi.
8 or 9 crores vunte goppa. 4 crores ki real temple vachesthaadhi. atta mukkala temple kaadhu. film nagar lo beebathsamaina temple katteru recently.

good info mama. i appreciate your honesty to divulge the actual facts.
bottomline is in one of his strong areas mahesh's movie not doing great is not good sign.
i guess people expected too much from the movie or atleast were shocked to see "anna-chelli or akka-tammudu" kinda movie with such a massive expenditure.
Let us hope during pushkaralu time the movie gets good crowds and collections.
I am really disappointed with the news. But if it cant breakeven in the long run then it will be one of the biggest disappointments of recent times especially given the hype by Hero.

Here are some details from Vyjayanthi films
Arjun:
The share given by Jeevi in IB for the first week of 33 odd is correct.
Collections have dropped since Monday. Now they are expecting to break even in the long run. Only thing that make them earn profits is Gudumba Sankar not doing well and or ladies patronizing the movie. But right now they are saying that they'll break even.
Arjun's cost of 20 crores is not hyped and this it being attributed to the movie being profitable or not. I was told that this figure also includes Prince Mahesh's remuneration. He did not divulge the exact number but since it is their home production they might give him around 2 crores (on paper).
1.47 crores is the investment incurred by Vyjayanthi for Arjun this includes all overhead.
Gudumba Sankar:
The talk is very good for the movie within the industry circles.
Vyjayanthi and PK:
As of now movie will release for Sankranthi.
Vyjayanthi and Chiranjeevi:
This movie will kick-off in January next year. Vijay Bhasker has not yet been confirmed.
