Venky's success has always been dominated by other things. If he tried something new and it didn't work people critised him and if it did work gave the credit to someone else. He stands like Rahul Dravid. Whenever Rahul Dravid put up a good performance there was always someone else in the indian team that took the man of the match trophy. But finally Rahul Dravid came out as the Mr.Dependable. Similar is Venky to our tollywood. Everyone ignored him and branded him as a remake hero but none actually realizes that the roles he did are all different.
Sundarakanda,chanti,Suryavamsam,Raja,Gemini,Gharsh ana are all different roles. Even his straight films are all different. Kaliyugapandavulu, Ganesh,Bobbiliraja, Dharmachakram, Intlo illalu vantintlo priyuraalu, preminchukundam raa, premante idera, pavitrabandam, pelli chesukundam..etc all are different.
When many heroes stuck to their image, venky dared to be different. I watched his latest release Gharshana and i am proud to be his fan. How many heroes can work so hard on their physique to fit the role. Venky's dedication can be seen on screen. He is now doing Subash chandra bose and is putting up a little weight and a beard to fit the role. How many heroes can do that.
Finally after the end of the current four era..venky will be remembered as the one who experimented and as the one who gave the Tollywood a new look and gave them a little more than the usual faction,action and love stories
