A very sad news for you. Spiderman-2 is not going to make the 400 million mark. It is still strugging at 367 million. Shrek2 is sitting now at no: 3 with 434 million. I wonder if spiderman-2 will even beat LOTR: Return of the king which is in 7th place with 376 million.

But all his hit movies are so far not freemakes or remakes. And he is not encouraging any remakes mama. He also said in one of his interviews.
