ranga mama the main reason for jaiytra yatra is to reintroduce Mahesh to his fans. with the flop of NANI his image took a huge beating. so Mahesh is trying to reconnect with the fans and to show that he cares about them. in addition to this it is essentially in other form of publicity for the movie to overcome the negative campaigns by some.
essentially it is a two birds for one stone strategy. it is a smart move by producer Ramesh.

I didn't see the movie in NJ, I was very busy with some of my personal stuff. If it comes to Jersey again, will see or else might probably see it in Boston, since my friend will be screening it there and I might have to help him out with that, so might see in Boston..

Hero Mahesh Babu and director Gunasekhar would be touring Andhra area from 1st September to 4th September to thank the fans and Telugu movie lovers for making Arjun film a big success. They would start the tour by embarking Nagarjuna express on the early morning of 1st September. The unit would reach Guntur by afternoon. They would tour Guntur, Tenali, Mangalagiri and Vijayawada on 1st September. On the second September the unit would go to Kankipadu, Vuyyur, machilipatnam, Gudiwada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Tanuku and Rajahmundry. The unit would travel through Mandapeta, Kakinada, Tuni, Anakapally and Gajuwaka on 3rd September. They would travel Vizag, Vijayanagaram and Srikakulam on 4th September.
