this movie is one which i am going to wait for.
Ketan Mehta is really a director to look for. remeber his Mr Yogi, this was about women and usa green card holder when we were in knickers.

The Rising
Ketan Mehta`s The Rising starring Aamir Khan, Rani Mukherjee and Amisha Patel revolves around the life of freedom fighter Mangal Pandey, set against the backdrop of the 1857 mutiny. The film runs to five long hours and has been cut into three films of 100 minutes each. ..
The Rising is about life in the pre-independence era. It`s not a sarcastic comment on the rule of the British nor is it designed to provoke animosity towards the white man. Aamir`s make up is totally imaginary as there are no pictures, portraits or paintings of Mangal Pandey.
