The Telugu film producers counsel had a brainstorm session
three yrs ago there were a lot of low-budget movies coming out with a new casting in every movie. some were really good and new talent had a chance to show their skills.
but this posed a threat to all the "bick"-heads of tollywood. that period saw the downfall of all the big-heads... in every field -music, acting, direction. even SPB rarely featured in gult songs.
This producer council probably had a hidden agenda to CRUSH THESE UPCOMING TALENT and save themselves.
that is why we are not seeing any low-budget movies coming up.
the ones made are low-budget but advertized as huge budget

TFI comes to grinding halt
Telugu film industry came to a grinding halt on 5th September. The Telugu film producers counsel had a brainstorm session. There had been several flops in the last 3 months and Telugu Film producers counsel has met to discuss about how to make the things better. Several related issues like stars remunerations, budget control, excessive usage of film software by private TV channels and ratings in websites have also come up in the discussions.
