Gudumba Shankar which is slated to release on Sept 10th is already creating the records before the release. It collected 4,26.440 in Advance booking from Casino Theatre in Madras
*Today morning, they had barricades at Prasads for controlling the crowds for tickets and lot of secuirty personnal are deployed to control the crowds and this happened for the first time in the history or Prasads.....
*Prasads and Devi are booked till tuesday morning show.And all the side theaters are booked till monday nite show...This happened in only 2 hours after advance booking started. |

Chalam mama very good point. I too feel the same. Thats one of the reasons why I get pissed off at RGV. I used to like him till Company. Not that I liked all his movies but I was waiting in hope for something. Yinka naa valla kaavatam ledu.

basic ga point entante, cinema is an emotional medium mama. anduke kodi, krr, gopal antha success ayayru. ivalrepu oche bacha gallu technique = cinema anukuntaru. good technique should help a movie but cannot itself become a good movie. |

He had so many movies which were jubilees based on the films merit.
Chinna chinna heroes tho teesinavi kooda picha picha ga hit ayyayi.
I think he gave the biggest/genuine hits (In number) when compared to any other director.

Very true mama. He is an amazing personality. In his prime, he used to direct 2-3 movies at the same time.
I think he was an assistant to Dasari and also came from Palakollu.

There was a time when Telugu film industry had very good story-telling directors. I am not talking about the golden era of black and white films but even in the seventies, eighties and early nineties, we had directors who used to give us good family entertainers.
Kodi Ramakrishna I think was one of the best in this department. His movies used to run based on a strong story mixed with other entertaining elements like comedy/sentiment.
