somehow i thought, this quote relates to some of our views, arguments and discussions in this DB..sometimes i find it very hard to convince people who are not only reluctant to change their perspective on the topic in discussion but also refuse to change the subject ..

samurai mama..i'm from hyd... arjun is doing pretty good here, thanks to the aggressive publicity by the producer through guna sekhar and mahesh babu..it really gave a big boost to the collections..but i'm still waiting for the fight sequences in the climax to be edited by another 5 mnts(asalu aa street lo night time fight mottam theeseyochhu and same with the fight under the water)

1) I think it'll also be good if the fans/heroes also do something against black tickets.
2) Heroes should stop hyping their movies.
3) Fans should stop forcing their heroes to drag movies.

I still feel the success of samba was badly affected by this piracy.. Samba had all the mass elements for being a better successful film than it actually was..but the pirated CD's marred the film's good run..

NSC REVIEW: The first half of the film is just average, with no major comical situation or songs. The second is better as there are many good songs, comedy and entertaining episodes. Since there are 4 villains in the films, the fights shoud have had mass orientation. Kalyan’s amazing screen presence, comedy and music are the films pros, while slow narration, length is the drawback. Some of the fans even complained upon Pawan touching the villain’s feet too many times! While its no entertainer like Kushi or Thammudu, it’s not a bad film either. It’s a popcorn flick made for Pawan Kalyan’s fans. The publicity of the film is very poor, and instead of projecting it like a mass film, they makers should project is like an entertainer. Also the film could be made more entertaining, but editing a few episodes. Despite the fact that the publicity is poor, and Pawan’s earlier film was a disaster, the film opened to mind-blowing openings. The forthcoming days would tell the film’s fate at boxoffice.

Great Andhra Talk - Mixed Opinions on Gudumbaa Shankar
Gudumba Shankar created a gale by hitting 34 theatres in twin cities today. It turned a boon to the black ticket vendors. In some theatres the black price ranged between Rs.300 and Rs.800 especially for the morning show.
However, the theatres are reverberated with heehaws and shouts of fans for the first few scenes. But the sound of overwhelming minimized slowly due to the lack of continuous punch in the scenes, dialogue and other stuff.
No noticeable attractions in the film except Pawan’s imitation of different stars in different situations and Netanya Singh’s item number. Netanya’s ‘killi..killi..’ tests the testosterone of all males.
Let us see what the audience says about the film after the morning show-
“ We are happy by comparing Gudumba Shankar to Johnny. Really, our hero has given his best. Film is a sure success. It definitely runs more than 100 days. Long live Pawan Kalyan”, says a Pawan Kalyan’s fan.
“ Songs are great. ‘killi…killi…’ song is sexy. Heroine is lovely. Comedy is good”, says a viewer.
“ No dhum in the story. Even the narration is bad. It’s a headache movie. Not up to the expectations”, says a disappointed viewer.
“ Comedy is not novel. It’s an age-old concept. Only Pawan’s fans should make it play for 100 days. It’s a big task for them”, says another disappointed viewer.
However, the movie can be regarded a hit, by considering the contemporary trend. It is an accepted truth that when the movie gets a talk of ‘average’, eventually, it’s proving to be ‘hit’ with the support of fans and their associations. Gudumbaa Shankar is one that falls into such category.

Piracy is a malicious socio-economic evil, which is not only crippling the industry's value chain but also jeopardizing the livelihood of thousands of people!!
While the concerned people have every right to protect their interests, they should do so with a semblance of respect to human rights!! As die-hard fans, we expect you to take legal recourse to address your grieviances!!

As a fan of Mahesh Babu, I wanted Arjun to succeed against all odds but we looked forward for an interesting tussle with PK's Gudumba Shankar!! Hope the movie gathers moementum like Arjun and salvage the pride of the people involved in the project!!
I also feel that Pawan should announce couple of projects asap with leading directors!! As long as he is visible, he should be fine!! But Satyanandh should be given the boot as he is repeatedly misusing the opportunities given to him!! PK for sure will be better of by changing the titles of his forthcoming movies with Dutt and Ratnam. While Columbus is outlandish, Bangaram is too soft!! It is also time for PK to show some restrain while using the vernacular styles(read Hyderabadi antiques) and embrace those that appeal to broader sections of people.
