I agree that we should be creative, experimenting and to do this we need high budget films and stuff like that.
Saying if you can afford it watch it otherwise just forget it ani viewers descretion ki vadilesi vunte baagundedhi. Idi cheppadaaniki vinadaaniki baane vundi..
Kaani reality is we don't leave it there and we make every to attempt to get attention of the movie with all sorts of comedies. We advertise in each and every channel to pull viewer to movie with all sorts of acts that available now.
Do we really think this is OK for family person with two kids and wife can afford 150+ for a movie?
See this: flat rate business hungama resulted in closure of a theatre in Madanapalle.

Just a sarcastic/silly analysis of this centre on the rates of tickets and the actual income levels of people in that area.
I know this this town as I am from that near by village. I know that no one can afford more than 25 Rupees in this B centre for watching a movie. Here most of them are students from near by villages and locals of the town doing commercial crop sellers (ground nut, tomato, fruits, mulbary silk worm growing and etc,) milk business and govt. employee residiantial colony for the whole region who commute from there. For most of them they can't afford such prices for watching movies. May be I am wrong.

One thing one must notice in US is they take high care in getting leak of a cam print in US theatres.. with high level security screening.. why we are missing that in India? When that bloody fellow allows such fellows to get itno it and cry on these CD shop people??? First let them have control on the theatres not allow such things.
btw, I agree in US piracy is there, but very few percentage only on web, not direct piracy as what u see in India.
I have been to matrix revolutions in one of the Imax here, they set scanners to the entrance which detects any electronic item including cell phone and gives warning to the security for physical frisking. |

Another thing to note I already said: Movie ticket prices are increased for each movie and common middle class man can't afford such prices for whole family to watch a movie. So piracy starts, if the ticket price is normal, things wouldn't have gone this bad.... so problem is with industry as well as these CD shop people who want to encash this middle class people's intrest of watching the movie.

Stars remunerations run into crores but the taxes paid them wont be proporationate to the incomes. They take majority of the remuneration in black money to avoid taxes.
Story, scenes, music they copy from other languages and dont pay any good will to them.
Let them release the DVDs in second week and how many people will go for pirated tsuff.

Its a shame to think and some money maniacs killing the collections of our films. Its never happen before Gudumba Shankar's piracy C.D caught at Eluru along with Arjun movie C.D and some other new movies. The police and Govt watching this piracy scam like a comic show. Our stars and industry people and labour facing a huge loss include with Govt. How can we imagine good collections for our movies when C.Ds roaming around state that too from 2nd day Lets condemn it and start fight aganist piracy.. more than 20,000 Arjun C.D s roaming around the state...it is the position of our stars films now...
