ML, are they travelling by Venkatadri or Narayanadri??
If they travel by Narayanadri then they can get down in Kalahasti some time around 6.30 AM and go to some hotel and get refreshed. But that will will be very tight schedule. I am not sure about hotels in Kalahasti right now. Probably there might be one or two which are good.
I would recommend to go to tirupati on the day before pooja by some flight (flight starts some time in the afternoon in hyd and takes 1.30-2 hours to reach tirupati),stay at tirupati on that day(probably visit some temples near by) and go to kalahasti next day. That dont eat their time.
Its very hard to go in train and attend pooja at 7.30 AM. |

if that is the case then i have no suggestions and dont have any idea about hotels in kalahasti. I thought they are clubbing TPT and SK together but as per you it seems its only SK trip. absolutely no idea.

They will be on the train and if they arrive at TPT at 7:20 am freshup and then drive 45 minutes they cannot make it to the 7:30 am puja...

Few hotels in TPT are very good. The Puja timing is around 7:30 am. They want to travel by Narayanadri Express (6:00 pm) and get down at Kalahasti early in the morning rather than travel all the way to TPT (arrival time is 7:20am) and drive back to Sri Kalahasati...
They want to take the train back to HYD very same day from Sri Kalahasti

Its better to stay in Tirupati. There are decently good hotels to stay like BLISS, BHIMAS RESIDENCY, GEUSTLINE ........ It hardly takes 40 mins to get to kalahasti from tirupati as roads are really good. If they start at 4.00 AM in morning they will be there at 4.45 AM. |

if they are ABCD's i bet they dont like even TPT hotels (except for few) and forget about kalahasti staying. If you are talking about early hours of 5am puja (or much earlier??). Even then also it makes sense to fresh up early and sleep in the car rather than a stay in kalahasti and repenting later.

Staying at TPT is the best but because of the time constraint this person wants to travel directly to Sri Kalahasti fresh-up go to the temple perform puja and come back to Hyd from Kalahasti itself...
This special puja is performed very early in the morning and traveling to TPT and from there again to Sri Kalahasti eats up into the early morning time hence...
Money is no problem...it is time

If you have little extra money then stay in TPT and take a taxi to Sri Kalahasti. That is best option as it takes hardly 40mins drive to Sri Kalahasti.
If you are really looking for good accomdation in Sri Kalahasti then what I said is the best option.
