Free power offer is not new: They have same slogan in 1999
-- No central leader, no planner campaign
-- Issues with tickets and tie-up with TRS
are the only two down factors for Congress and Adv. for TDP

Factors in 2004
- Free power to farmers slogan by congress
- Lack of good congress leaders other than Madiga nayakudu YSR
- No good central COngress leadership
- Other castes are not total against like they are in 1989. They are kind of OK with CBN. Little bit unsatisfaction which is quite naturqal after being in power for 9 years |

Factors in 1989,
1. NGOs are completelu against NTR
2. Brahmins are 100% against NTR
3. Good State leaders like Kotla, YS, NJR, PV, Marri and central figure like Raajiv etc
4. Motor cycle symobol was confusing in the ballot paers looks like Cycle (that symbol got around 3-4 votes across the state). Later on Motor Cycle symbol was banned

Inko vishayam yentante, when there is Anti Incumbency, it will not be confined to some parts of the state. Usually it will prevail all over the state and will cost the ruling party all over. If really Anti Incumbency is there than it will be very tough.
But konni vargala prakaram yentha disappointed unna inka public ki konchem nammakam undi ani, if so he may scrap thru with meagre majority!!

In 1989 Anti Incumbency proved costly to TDP bringing down it's strength in Assembly to 76!! Almost all exit polls say that is going to be repeated in 2004!!
Now will TDP perform like 1989 with paltry 76 and below or will it perform with a respectable total of atleast 100, or will it prove Exit polls wrong by crossing magic number 147??

If you ask me, TDP will end up some where around 120 and will miss the magic number by around 27!! But than by getting that number CBN may prove Anti Incumbency on TDP now is less than that in 1989!!
