also check the domain level settings as well. what do i mean is if you are accessing a server from a clients pc then the domain user through which you are logged on needs to have permissions on MessageQueuing on the server connected. Be sure its the DOMAIN USER and not just the local user.. ram(kushi) UTTER FLOP TALK ( GS) == SOOPER DOOPER HIT TALK (LNS) |

BABA mava specifically check for MessageQueuing permissions and file level permissions.. You need to explicitly give the permissions to either the user logged in or the group to which the user belongs.. if both dont work then try adding the user to the permitted users list for the modules.. try this out.. KR mama, i did these like changes to local security policy and made sure the administrator has the privileges on most of the things.

I can use all the available options.but the problem is it shud able to attach to the message queue and invoke the process. it says unable to attach i used to get this error, when the logon user is not an administrator or does nt have any administrative privileges. but here the logon user is an administrator.. so the problem |

mams i need a help on this. when i run a command like "SERV -u" which list the users. here SERV is a service which is up and running. I am getting this error. "Unable to attach to message queue. Processors must be able to communicate with SERV via the message queue. In an attempt to attach to the message queue an error occurred. A possible cause is that the SERV has not been started." My OS is win2k with ADS. i guess it is something to do with administrative privileges. but logon user is an adminstrator. can anybody throw light on this plz MODS (plz wait for sometime then u can move this ) |
