If the mangoes are sold seperately Price of A mango : Rs.1/3 Price of B mango : Rs.1/2 Avg price of a Mango = (1/3+ 1/2)/2 = Rs.5/12 = 41.6 paise if the mangoes are sold together @ 5/Rs.2 price of each mango = 2/5 = 40 paise so there is difference in the price.. that's where A lost 1 rupee (.416667 * 60) -(.40 * 60) = 1.666667 * 60 = Rs.1 |

Again mama For A: The number of mangoes he needs to sell are 30 for rate of 3/Rs1. So he has to sell 10 times. So A = 10. For B: The number of mangoes he needs to sell are 30 for rate of 2/Rs1. So he has to sell 15 times. So B = 15 So he has to cell 25 times to get 25 rupees. Now CASE 2: for 60 mangoes, he sells 5/2 So he has to sell 60/5 = 12 times only. Bit since each time he get Rs2. Eqaul to selling 2*2 24 times. So any case 24 is not equal to 25. So he lost Rs 1 by doing so... But he sold only 12 times instead of 25. Saving him some time...

looks to be good answer mama So my second Q A sells 3 mangoes for 1 rupee B sells 2 mangoes for 1 rupee A and B sells daily 30 mangoes So A earns 30/3 = 10Rs B earns 30/2 = 15Rs Total earnings of A,B = 15+10 = 25 one days A asks B to sell his mangoes too as he is ill. so B takes all 60 mangoes he follows a simple logic to sell of 60 as A 3/Rs1 + b 2/Rs1 he adds and sells 5 mangoes /Rs 2 so he gets 60/5 * 2 = 24 Rs what happened to 1 rupee |

actual gaa 10 rs contrib so its 30, in that they got gift + 2 for ice cream + 3 discount. That settles the initial contribution. Now they have contributes 9+9+9 = 27. In that you cannot add 2 for icecream. It is 25 gift + 2 for icecream = 27. thats hold true. Since both are differen scenarios, you cannot add 2 to icecream.. From Shop keeper point of view it is 25+5 = 30. From ABC point of view it is 25+2 = 27. So there is not question of your equation. Basically adding 2 to 27 is wrong.... |

Babu, A) Money given away by shopkeeper = 5 B) Amount spent for Ice Cream = 2 C) Amount given to Customers = 3 A should be equal to B + C, which it is. So the problem is solved. |

basic gaa your equation is wrong. You should not say 9+9+9+2... 9+9+9=27. But the cost of gift is not 27, it is 25. You cannot add 2 for icecream for that amount as it was discount of 30. |

eppatinincho undi naa madhilo..idhi I guess most of u might be knowing it A,B,C plan to buy a gift to present to some X gift cost emo 30Rs. so A,B,C contribution will be 10rs each. vallu valla friend shop ke velatharu..but friend undadu..assistant untadu.. so konesi intiki vastharu.. then aa shop owner back ki vacchi vishayam thelusukoni friends kadha..so 5 rs discount iddhamanu koni.. assistant chethiki pampisthadu.. vaadu daarilo oka icecream konukkuntadu...2rs ki 5rs note icchi.. so inka migilindi 3rs.. adhi thesukelli A,B,C ki isthadu. vallu 3/3 = 1 so 1rupee okakokallu thesukuntaru.. so now contribution by A,B,C A -> 10 -1 = 9 B -> 10 -1 = 9 c -> 10 -1 = 9 so total is 9+9+9 = 27 +2(ice cream) = 29 but initial money emo 30 Rs 1 rupee emaindi????? |
