>>>Manishi garu, Veeti burn quality difference emaina vuntunda? I have IO MAgic 16X drive, nenu home DVDs + ripped nu deeni meede chesanu. They are playing ok on my DVD player. Am I losing something? Inspire garu, IO magic does not actually makes the DVD drives. The actual drive is made by different companies like NEC , LITE-on ... The just put their name on it. Btw what is your model? The major difference with the drives is the media compatability. For ex: Plextor PX-708A is a 8x burner. But it can burn only at 4x speed for DVD-R media , But will burn at 8x speed for DVD+R media. This will result in the dvd not able to play on certain dvd players. Also you should not have buffer under run errors and skip chapters during burning. This will not make any difference with multi-region dvd players like apex, Cyberhome Govideo ... Some of the branded DVD players like sony, toshiba, panasonic will not be able to play burnt discs. Tunts mama , moham kadigindhi challe. Ekkuva tommaku pallu oddipothayi !!
