pgmming langs are evergreen......full time ayithe thats what is my strong opinion
kuyyo ga kastha devlopment side kuda soodara babu......minimum oka 4-5 calls reject sesa....contract positions kavatam valla......only full time kosam searching soosuko market ela undo development ki
also kastha experience vasthe analyst ga/architect ga develop ayithe salary baguntundi.....more security compared to ERP |

coming to billing rates ..
ERP ..usually gets more than..DataWare hosing.. which in gen more than what u get for developing/programming jobs ..
Atleast thats what my observation is.. but again.. it all depends on luck.. u should be able to hit right target at right moment!!
I would suggest to learn some programming stuff (.NET /Java) and one DW/SAP tool/module .. that should serve all worst case situations.. it shouldnt take more than 3 (2+1) months .. to master (enough to get into first project)!!

Oracle apps is the best if you are looking for good billing rates. Right now consultancies are having a tough time filling up Oracle HRMS positions as there are not many in the market. |

my original track is microsoft techs ( vb,asp, recently dotnet for 3 years).. but want to shift to one of these hot skills..
my consultent told me usually people are available in dotnet, microsoft techs easily. if you come prepared on one of these, billing rates will be more and getting into job will be easy, he says...
what do to u suggest??? which is the best to learn in terms of billing rates, job scope, future, complexity to learn these.. ????
