It is a routine drama with all the stuff we generally watch in themes of this kind, meant only to elevate the artiste playing the hero, instead of the character. Vijayan is the fight choreographer, who keeps his hero invincible, even against dozens of gonads. The love story between the hero and Asin is half baked. It is used only for presenting some duets. There is no relief in the film despite presence of Bahmanandam, and Venu Madhav. Venu plays a martyr’s role. The playback voice given to the hero is quite week and the musical score for the songs are loud. The background music is impressive. We don’t know how the original Tamil was handled by its director, but the Telugu version is unimpressive and beyond comprehension. Out and out it is an unconvincing drama. Andhravilas |
