I dont know for how long is your H1-B valid..
After your PERM is over.. I-140 should be filed.
and I-485 is still running in backlog..
currently I heard it is May 2001.
Unless the 485 processing date matches your labour filing date, we cannot file the 485.
So long way to go unless some miracle happens.

if filed properly perm should take approximately 6 weeks time. I know few cases whose labor got cleared in that time. I would wait for another 4 weeks and check with attorney.

It takes anywhere from few days to few months. If there are not any problems, your PERM labor must be approved with in a month???
You can't verify the status your self. Your employer or attorney must be able to provide the status. |
