There are many opinions and news surrounding Maharadhi, which is scheduled to release on 25 th of this month as per the present news.
When asked for the reasons for delay, Producer Vakada Appa Rao gave an explanation this way.
Vakada's Statement:
"Director P Vasu, Balakrishna and I wanted to improve the quality of the film. We sent the negatives to Mumbai. The negatives were expected back by the January 6 night for the January 10 release. But the computers crashed and there were some other technical problems which delayed the work by two days.
We know Sankranti is a big festival and the fans eagerly await release. At the same time our hero Balakrishna too advised us not to worry it in a hurry. We are confident about the film, so the timing of the release is no issue to be worry about".
But Film Nagar talk is completely different and here is the news that is in air in Film Nagar.
Film Nagar Talk:
Postponement of 'Maharadhi' is just delaying its death. The film may not release at all. It can see light only when someone comes forward with Rs. 6 Crores in pocket.
The story is very big.
We have to go to Balakrishna's 'gun shooting' episode to know the ins and outs of this film. Balakrishna settled the issue with Bellamkonda by paying him Rs. 2 Crore and also promising him that he would do a film for him. But Bellamkonda asked Balayya to work for Vakada Appa Rao and paid Vakada a sum of Rs. 1 Crore.
Then, with all zeal to work with Balakrishna, Vakada Appa Rao borrowed a sum of Rs. 4 Crore from UCO Bank. He also took a big sum of Rs. 2 Crores from financiers as well.
Balakrishna's remuneration for the film is Rs, 2 Crore and Vakada paid him Rs. 50 lakhs as advance. Then Balakrishna completed entire film only with that amount and sat quiet for quite long time without rendering his voice for dubbing. He asked to clear the balance Rs. 1.5 Crore to go ahead with dubbing.
However, Vakada tried his ways and convinced Balakrishna to complete dubbing. Balakrishna did that and the film turned ready for release.
But unexpectedly, the distributors who paid only half the amounts initially said that they cannot pay the balance immediately. They also said that the balance would be paid after the release. This kept Vakada in big tension. Meanwhile Dasari Narayan Rao, who bought Naizam rights on Siri media, has withdrawn at latter stage.
Now, the financiers are pressurizing Vakada to pay back the amounts, otherwise, the film wouldn't come out from labs. Vakada is also in pressure to pay back Rs. 4 Crore for UCO bank.
At this juncture, only when someone comes with Rs. 6 Crore, to save Maharadhi, the problem will be solved.
In fact, Suresh Productions, which has been the shelter for refugees may come for rescue!
These are the two sides of explanations making rounds. Only the time will decide what the fact is.
