Sheriff's officials and neighbors Jeff and Robbin Garrett declined to comment Friday. Neighbors Robert and Cheryl Nash could not be reached.
At the criminal trial before Will County Judge Marilee Viola, Mrozek denied that she and Sumner had sex in the hot tub in the back yard of Mrozek's duplex.
In reaching her verdict, Viola said "common sense tells you those acts occurred." But the judge said prosecutors had failed to prove that Mrozek's back yard was a "public place" where the couple should have expected to be seen.
