Have you ever heard of a film called Sardar Papanna? No? Well 99 percent of Telugu People are clueless about its existence. But the producer has given an advertisement on Saturday that it had completed 175 days of grand run. Sardar Papanna is a film about a Telengana revolutionary leader but it was not even properly released in Nizam area. Probably the ad’s intention was to remind people that the film was release 175 days back ; not its run.! It stars Superstar Krishn and Suman in the lead roles and produced and directed by Pratani Ramakrishna Goud.
The question what filmmakers derive of these so-called 100 days and 175 days run when audience doesn’t want watch it. Same is the cast with Pogaru. The Vishala starrer dubbed movie had great openings but it has got flop talk in the first week itself and after 4 weeks everyone forgot about its existence. And suddenly its 100 days run ad appears in newspapers. Some things really don’t change.
