Nayakudu Vooriki Bewarse Username: Nayakudu Post Number: 5690 Registered: 05-2005 Posted From: 129.188.69.129 Posted on Monday, January 29, 2007 - 11:03 am: eeyana(chiru) legend aite; why not mb, balkrishna of his contemporaries. these are my opinions; it will hurt somebody but the facts I thought from my point of view are: why SSK, sobhan babu, krishnam raju not given proper treatment. these three at least should be given Legendry before Chiru. they have given better treatment to ANR just because Nagarjuna is close to Chiru and talked much about NTR as balakrishna is there. yes accepted; NTR and ANR were the two legends for TFI, no doubt about that. legends means they should not be heroes only. what about SVR, savitri, anjali devi,etc. there are many legends. in the recent past what about Jayasudha, Jaya Prada and Sri Devi OK, granted they have considered only heroes for Legendry; then what Chiru has more qualifications than SSK, sobhan babu, krishnam raju. they also came on their own; no god fathers to them. in his speech Chiru told that the committee wants to give him Legendry because of his contributions and made the TFI to be competitive to Bollywood in collections. eeayana collections gurinchi, records gurinchi matladite; paalu tage pillalu kooda navvutadu. yes, he acted well in some movies, he came to this level on his own, he created his own style; nobody denied that. if he thinks that he is Legend, that is his foolishness. eeyana fans tega feel ayipotaru, eeyana chesina movies gurinchi; eeyana okkade chesada goppa chitralu. chiru chesina cinemas lo IRVK, subha lekha, khaidi, PP, JVAS, GM, GL, chantabbai, rudra veena, swayam krushi, aapadbhandavudu, tagore, etc. i might have missed some more. lets talk about the other three heroes did not get the proper treatment SSK, sobhan babu, krishnam raju. sobhan babu: he did small characters initially like chiru and came to the peak stage and occupied the place of ANR. he did remarkable characters in veerabhimanyu, manushulu marali, balipetham, sarada, chelleli kapuram, jebudonga, gorintaku, mallepuvvu, radha krishna, puttinillu mettinillu, devalayam, kurukshtram, jeevana tarangalu, devatha, etc. SSK, he is the man brought many trends to TFI; undoubtedly whether one can accept or not he is next to NTR and ANR. he acted in movies gudhachari 116 (th fisrt of its kind in indian film industry; not just only TFI), jamesbond 777, circar express, alluri seetharamaraju (first cinema scope movie), pandanti kapuram (which got banagaru nandi at all India level); devudu chesina manushulu (one of the all time best multi starrer), paadi pantalu, bangaru bhoomi, eenadu (no heroine), maha baludu, ekalvya, saakshi, meena, mundadugu, simhasanam (first 70 MM movie), etc. if i start telling about SSK, there will be no end. and because of SSK only Jayaprada and Sridevi went into bollywood and got name and fame; and they openly told many times. at one time Sridevi used to act in Telugu only with SSK to show her regard to SSK as he did a lot to her. he produced many movies in bollywood and got a very good name. now as he is down; everybody is taking him lightly.
