We watched Maharadhi in North Bergen with full crowds and VIPs Mr. Daggubati and Central Minister Smt. Purandeswarari. I booked tickets for friday show and they cancelled.. I did not buy tickets online again since I was not sure whether they screen it or not. When I went to counter they told it is sold out for 9:30 movie. I went inside and searched for the screener.. and managed to get two tickets by showing off the previous day ticket print out even though it was refunded.  Big thanks to both of them for considering us!
Movie starts off with Balakrishna in a classical singer getup teaching music and as a Dance master in another college. Movie revolves around Bala Krishna on why he acted up in different roles and what he wanted to achieve and the situations
Plus points:
-> Bala Krishna action as Krish and whole second half role.
-> Sneha and Meera jasmine excellent performance. They really lived up to their roles. The body language b/n Hero went very well.
-> Two songs are really good. Bala Krishna typical mass dance so good. Veeche gaalulao song is one of the extra ordinary song in recent years after Narasimha Naidu album. This song comes twice with both the heroines and it is an excellent camera work and nice picturization by Vasu.
-> Kovai Sarala and Naresh did her controlled performance no OA at all.
-> Jaya Pradha should be replaced with some powerful character like Ramya Krishna or Bhanu Priya (if dance knowledge is must).
-> Dailogues for Bala Krishna are simple and powerful unlike Paruchuri hype dailouges. The writer did a good job.
-> Guru Kiran music for two songs (Bala krishna, Veeche galulao) and background score is really the best in recent times. But for other songs it was noisy and did not suit well. He shouldnt have used Taal bits here. I felt the dance school scenes are dragged a bit.
-> Vasu could have stripped off some scenes (Ali scene and Kovai Sarala n Jaya Pradha and death).. but Vasu did justification to this routine story of cold revange.
Negatives:
-> No comedy track except few scenes with NBK, Jaya Pradha. Ali comedy did not go well and unnecessary. Some scenes are dragged a bit.
-> Wig for Music teacher and the second half beard should have taken off just after the song and must have shown Bala Krishna in normal getup.. It would have created excellent appeal for the rest of the movie. Still it is not bad though.
Overall the movie entertaining and different theme movie for Bala Krishna in 4 getups.
