Oct-2005 - i came to USA on L1, since then i have been here
Oct-2005 - My H1B petition approved with effective date from feb-2006 and valid till march-2008. I94 was not provided though since i was in India at the time of filing
now my consultant applied for an amendment to my approved H1B petition to seek the new I94 with H status, with effective start date of april20 - 2007. i can as well do this because i anm in USA in valid status and i am only requesting to also provide me the I94 based on the previously approved petition. though we do not request for COS from L1 to H1, this request implicitly means COS ardham aithey nenu happies |
