ఎడిటర్ లో "Copy Telugu Script to Clipboard" button ఉంది కదా, అది క్లిక్ చేస్తే, నువ్వు రాసిన తెలుగు Clipboard లోకి Copy అవ్వుద్ది. వెంటనే నువ్వు దాన్ని ఎక్కడ కావాలంటే
అక్కడ Paste చెయ్యొచ్చు. అలాగే English Script కూడా.
Notepad లో paste చేసుకొని, ANSI కాకుండా, UNICODE లో ఒక file లోకి save చెయ్యొచ్చు. ఒక seperator తో, English Script కూడా save చేసుకుంటే అదే fileలో,
తరవాత ఎప్పుడు కావాలంటే అప్పుడు దాన్ని, మళ్ళీ నా ఏడిటర్ లో edit చేసుకోవచ్చు.
ఈ copy చేసింది, MSpaint లో ఒక textbox insert చేసి, దానిలో paste చేసి, bmp or jpg file గా save చేసుకోవచ్చు. అలాగే yahoo, gmail లో paste చేసుకొని ఈ-మెయిల్స్
పంపుకోవచ్చు.
gmail లో settings లోకి వెళ్ళి outgoing message-utf-8 అని select చేసుకోవాలి.
Yahoo లో, IE toolbar లో View->Encoding->Utf-8 గా ఉండేటట్టు చూసుకోవాలి, తెలుగు లో మెయిల్స్ పంపించాలి అంటే. అలాగే yahoo mail ఎప్పుడూ defaultగా, Western
European Encoding తో ఓపెన్ అయ్యి, తెలుగు characters junk లాగా కనపడతాయి. అప్పుడు కంగారుపడకుండా, Viewలో Encoding Utf-8 కి మార్చుకుంటే, తెలుగు లో display
అవుద్ది.

Have you all downloaded the latest version that I released on Ugadi Day, hosting it on Google Pages. It is a small Zip file with 60KB size. If you extract it, you will find a SuryasManaTelugu. Exe which is the main application for Messaging and Editing in Telugu.
The other is an html file which explains how the Tool can be operated and tips to know the format of writing 'Transliterable' Text.
The third file is an Excel add-in for Excel Savvys.

I have developed this apllication alone, just as a hobby. Transliteration is not a new concept. If I sit with Tamil or any other language person, I can covert my code to those languages also with a very little modification. As of now I want to put my efforts only on Telugu.
Quillpad looks easy because on the Beta version which is free, they are collecting words into their database. So you don't need to follow the 'CASE' of letters as it looks up for the suitable match in the database and gives the word. But for words like 'ada', it can either be 'ADa', 'ADA', 'adA', 'AdA'. Quillpad asks you to select the word you want. This kind of selection is OK for a one-off message. But if you are really looking at longer texts, selecting the appropriate word everytime consumes lot of time. The conventional Transliteration is better for this applications.
Anyway I too am in the process of preparing a database of all common speaking Telugu and English words by Telugu people. I already have about 20,000 words. I will soon come up with non-case sensitive transliteration. But I fear the processing time will be too long and doesn't suit fast typing.
The main purpose of my Tool is Instant Messaging. I can proudly say that it is the 'FIRST OF IT'S KIND' in TELUGU. You may have Regional language plug-ins for Yahoo Mesenger, but that will not support GoogleBEta. Probably my Tool is the only Tool that can be used for both and with Unicode involved, it took me a great research to come out with this Tool.
So please try the tool and let me know how it works and what else you would like to have in the tool. |

వాడి చూడండి, అవతలి వాళ్ళు thrill అవుతారు. Chat window open చేసిన తరవాత
ఈ application open చేసి, దీనిలోనే type చేసి, ఇక్కడే enter కొట్టండి, automaticగా, మీ మెసేజ్ అవతల వాళ్ళకి వెళ్ళుద్ది. ఒక్కసారి ఒక్కళ్ళ తోనే use చెయ్యటానికి కుదురుద్ది.

fonts ఏమీ download చేసుకోనవసరం లేదు. XP operating system లో MS Arial Unicode fonts by default వస్తాయి. అవి లేకపోతే "గౌతమి", తెలుగు unicode fonts try చెయ్యండి. ఇవి కూడా XP తో వస్తాయి. కాకపోతే Regional settings కి వెళ్ళి, East Asian, left to right select చేసుకొండి.
XP ఉండి ఎవరికైనా IEలో ఈ display సరిగ్గా లేకపొతే, viewకి వెళ్ళి, encoding, utf-8 సెలెక్ట్ చేసుకోండి. |
