Did you single handedly pull the revenues or part of the revenues , at the end of the year are you not getting your company profit sharing bonus ..,
I get pounded by the same questions day in day out by my team guys and I have have to convince my boys .. and make them understand they are working for an IT department which is a COST centre in the organization rather than profit centre ..

good Qn indeed...my company is not like goldman sachs/Merrilynch where 100s of developers are working under a development manager.. When i joined with benchmark total team size was around 10 including 3 board of memebers and i was one of them in the team...now team size is improved around 75...I saw devlopment of this company infront of my eyes and i did contribute to develop the business in the means of Information technology wise while for developing the business....it doesn't matter wether i directly involved in the business or not...but i am the only programmer who was converting all of his excel needs in to beter informative way to go a head with business with rite information i can say as a core reason.. |
