If u have smart phone(T MobileDash,Treo,..etc) download tomtom 6.0 and buy receiver ($60 Bluetooth, $20 wird). and buy $15 2GB mico meemory card .

Yes, Nuvi doesn't show the list of routes, you need to pick fastest/shortest option. Also it 350 doesn't have any external buttons except the power button, which makes it very sleek. Everything is touch screen operated. Tomtom points of interest are not upto date in US.

Nuvi 350 VS TomTom? Is this true Chip?
On the TomTom you can have a list of routes you want to take, calculated with total miles.
So if you know a certain freeway is clogged before you leave your home you can see
which freeways to take. On the Garmin, you have to pick Shortest or Fastest in the settings
and then it calculates a route. You can pick detour when you're on your trip and it will
calculate a new route, but I like the TomTom feature where it just gives you all the possible routes.
Does the Nüvi have a external volume control. |

here in NL , TomTom is the best followed by Route66.. I have both of them ..
Route66 in my mobilephone , but works with external GPS receiver ..
Last week I bought .. Eteen 700 (Glofish) , with built in GPS receiver .. its 580 Euros here in NL .. i think you can lap it up for 400 dollars in US .. and
